Windy City Golf League Kicks off its First Season!

What: The first competitive amateur golf league in Chicago to offer flexible schedules and affordable prices to fit the busy lives of Chicago's men and women. Members play head-to-head matches on any of over a hundred courses of their choosing in the Chicago metro area, at a time that is convenient for them. Whether your game is solid or you're still working on your swing, WCGL caters to everyone from the die-hard golfer to the leisurely player by pairing members based on skill level. You can register and track your progress to see how you match up to others on WCGL's interactive Web site, WindyCityGolfLeague.com. Registration for the Summer 2009 League is now open for a limited time.

Price & Perks:
* $60 per member per 12-week season, consisting of 6 head-to-head matches.

* Most flexible scheduling of any golf league in Chicagoland! Members have 2 weeks to schedule and play each match. Play any course, anytime, and play 9 or 18-holes.
* Get friends to join and earn rewards!
* Customized Player Page that updates and tracks your season and career statistics, including Adjusted scoring average, Par 3, 4, and 5 scoring averages, Birdies/Pars per round, etc.
* Finish the season as the points leader of your bracket, and you automatically qualify for the Arghe Isle (pronounced Argyle) Cup Tournament , WCGL's one-day, postseason tournament/golf outing. Wildcard qualifying spots are also available within each flight.

* Registration: June 1 - July 5
* Late Registration: July 6 - July 11
* League play: July 13 - October 4
* Postseason Tournament: October 10
