In 1904 the Decatur Fishing Club was incorporated and later renamed South Side Country Club. Many changes have been made, however the Mission of the Club remains the same today.
"The mission of South Side Country Club is to ensure sustainability
and value by providing casual yet quality facilities and services to
meet the social and golf needs of our members, their families and their guests.
The many features of South Side reflect a family-friendly club.
