Our driving range has eight clearly defined, bunkered target greens that give you a real course look and practice experience. Our grass tees are also complemented by first-class artificial tees. Combine our driving range with our practice holes, two putting greens and chipping area, and you have the finest practice facility in the Chicago area.
Prairie Landing has two well-conditioned, regulation practice holes that are included with your green fee or available in conjunction with our practice center fee (which includes using the driving range for as much as three hours). Our $30 practice center fee includes use of our driving range, practice holes, chipping area and putting greens for up to three hours.
The first two practice holes are well bunkered par fours, and the third is a par three that plays to the same green as the second practice hole. The holes are set in a secluded area adjacent to the clubhouse and provide a great venue to work on your golf game.

Summer lessons are offered on bent grass and blue grass turf surfaces. Winter lessons are offered under our covered hitting areas that consists of 25 heated hitting bays.

GOLF INSTRUCTOR: PAT LENSKI, PGA
Pat's teaching philosophy in a sentence- "Using technology to teach students to understand the cause and effect of their golf swing, creating self-reliant, clear-headed and athletic golfers."
Born and raised in Geneva Illinois, Pat's golf instruction education includes time at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and a bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College. Mr. Lenski has been a Class 'A' Member of the PGA since 1995 and his work experience includes 3 seasons at the famous Lake Nona Club in Orlando where he honed his golf coaching skills observing the great David Leadbetter. Following his time in Florida, he became Head Golf Professional at the historic Geneva Golf Club in Geneva where he spent 16 years. Pat is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Instructor and Titleist Certified Club fitter. In addition, he teaches with the Trackman Launch Monitor System and is a firm believer in the synergy of golf fitness and proper golf swing fundamentals.
Pat has been recognized for his work with junior golf in the tri-cities and has been a PGA Teaching Professional at Mill Creek Golf Club the past 3 years where he runs both spring and fall junior leagues and coaches 2 PGA Junior League summer teams. Additional teaching programs include running Nike golf camps and providing instruction to the Elgin chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of America as part of the PGA Sports Academy. In 2016 he was proud to have over 30 boy and girl students playing high school golf on area teams including Geneva, Batavia, St. Charles East, Kaneland, Dekalb, Burlington Central, Marmion, Wheaton Academy, St. Francis, Sycamore, South Elgin, West Aurora and Oswego.

"One of my greatest joys lies in the teaching aspect of the game of golf; I have been teaching golf since 1981 and have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages: local high school players (both boys and girls teams), college-age players that range from Junior College through Division 1 schools, adults, young adults and children. My students have played on Mini-Tour events, the Hooters Tour and the Canadian Tour, to mention a few.
