Besides the course, Hickory Ridge has a practice range, a driving range, a putting green, and a pro shop. The pro shop offers a generous selection of golf attire, golf clubs, and accessories. Hickory Ridge also has lessons available to help golfers improve their games.

Unlike most golfing destinations, Carbondale's climate allows the course to remain open during the year, barring freezing and snowy weather. If golfers prefer to walk the course, Hickory Ridge doesn't require the use of a cart. The course also accommodates corporate outings, which have become increasingly popular in recent years.
